Only new clients having an initial project generating fees of at least $30,000 will be considered. $30,000 would cover, for example, preparing three patent applications of minimum complexity excluding government fees and excluding drawing fees. This does not include patent prosecution or foreign applications.  If you are unable to commit to paying fees of $30,000 for an initial project, please do not submit this form.

If you are an individual who has an idea but does not have venture funding or an ongoing revenue-producing business, I regret that I am not able to accept such clients. Here’s why. You can obtain many answers to common questions that individual inventors have here.  I am also not able to help clients who want to register a single trademark.  My primary focus is patents.  I do assist patent clients with their trademark needs.

My fee for an initial consultation over the phone or by Zoom is $175 (up to one half hour).  Add $400 per hour for any time the consultation extends after the first half hour.  If I cannot provide an initial consultation due to a conflict of interest, this amount will be refunded.  This fee is charged primarily to filter out scammers, spammers, and people wanting free legal advice.  Thank you for your understanding.
